Oh how I long to have a friend in this frozen cold world where everyone else but me has someone to mend and tend
No love lies out there waiting for me for it has been forbidden from me for as long as my heart remains hidden under the ice of this neverending winter
I tried so hard to melt that ice and took myself to the light of the day, but newborn night came suddenly with it's freezing winds and made it stay
What's the point of pressing on if all I can get is just another night so very long
Maybe I should give up this useless life and let the winter overcome this meaningless strife...
